China Town

Hi cuties!

Ok now I won't skip a post! I'm back home now! Yesterday we were traveling back home and I didn't have any wifi to post. Anyway, We went to china town on our last day in san francisco! I couldn't believe all the fresh fruit they had! It was so beautiful! :*) The streets were packed with people and there were so many different smells haha! I had been to china town a few years ago and there was this one store we absolutely loved! I couldn't believe we found it because all the shops look the same. When we went in, there were so many colorful chinese robes and clothes. My sister was so in love with them she got one! aha! I am definitely missing san fran already! All the restaurants, rail cars, and shops were so nice, I can't wait to go back!

San Fran Rail Car

Hii cuties !  

I had such a great day out and about today in San Francisco! We took the original rail cars around town ! It made me feel like a local and a little less touristy , standing on the side of the rail car, while heading to our destination;) . We took it to union square to look at all the pretty stores and got some lunch at this Italian restaurant ( it actually wasn't that good oops😳😅) ahah ! We pretty much made a day out at Union Square but in our way back we walked through fishermans wharf! There was this band of street preformers who were playing steel drums ! They were so amazing ! One of the drummers  was pretty cool, he asked me if I wanted to try playing the steel drum and I did it of course! I think I sounded pretty good but I don't think I'll be playing a Bob Marley song anytime soon hahah! Alright, well I'm getting really sleepy! Had a long and adventure filled day! Sweet dreams loves !

Settled In San Francisco

Heeyyy!

Ok so we've made it back to civilization! aha! I haven't had any wifi or phone reception at all during this whole trip! Its actually been so nice. This trip kinda turned into a nature retreat.. So refreshing. Today we drove from the northern most part of California to San Francisco. We just got back from dinner on the pier. Its funny because it started raining really hard and it was all on the windows and no one was looking at it     ( because it rains so much here) and we were just staring out the window enjoying it as much as we could. aha! I guess their just really used to it. Can you tell we don't get that much (none at all) rain in LA?? Soooo I have wifi from now on! Dont worry I won't abandon you guys anymore! I have so many pictures to show you all! Until tomorrow... yours truly.

Rainy Roadtrip

Hey everyone!  

Our Roadtrip is going great! It's so nice! The weather is perfect! It's in the 40s and rainy 😍. So cozy! I haven't had a chance to post until now. The service is hard to find around here, since we're in the forest! We're 10 miles from crossing the Oregon border, ( we're heading north). Can't wait to take some more pictures to show you guys! Might have another post tonight because the place where we're heading is pretty spectacular 😍🌧 ok talk later!

Abbott Kinney Shops and Juice Date

Hi everyone! We just got home from a great day in Venice. We had lunch at one of my favorite juice bars and cafe called Kreation. They have the best smoothies and juice shots. I had never actually eaten in the cafe, i usually just pick the food up to go, but it was nice and the patio was so pretty. Anyway, after we went walking down the main street with all the shops, Abbot Kinney. I just love going there, it so trendy but not over the top. It's just right. Went into rag and bone and got some new jeans! This particular store is so beautiful as you can see. I just love the brick walls and the neon sign!  Well, we're going on a fun road trip up to Seattle tomorrow. I think we'll be gone a week ! I can't wait to be in the constant rain that southern California never gets! :*(

Sister Time

Hey hey!  

My sister Milahna and I were in Beverly Hills this afternoon to do a little shopping and get some dinner . We went to planet blue, roots, MAC, lulu lemon, William Sonoma , and all saints. . I think those are some of my favorite stores. Oh I also love rag and bone that's pretty much my all time favorite. Some of the stores we just were looking around. We picked out some new eyeshadow and lipsticks! I'll show you tomorrow! At planet blue, everything was 50% off so I was really happy about that😏. Anyway, after we got some dinner and now we're back and maybe going to watch a movie . What did you do today?  talk tomorrow .

Chocolate Macaroons

Hii sweeties! 

I made some chocolate macaroons this afternoon! They are so challenging to make so I'm actually really surprised they turned out! hah! The picture in the middle is Italian meringue and its so delish, if it wasn't almost all sugar i would eat it right off the spoon! oops! Tomorrow i will make the chocolate ganache for the filling ! gonna be so yum! Just got back from skating, such a great workout! Mostly cardio and leg ! i love it because its so cold in there! anyway I'm going to bed! sweet dreams!

Raspberry-lychee Dessert

Hi ! So this is something I've been working on for the past week or so. After a lot of thought and creative ideas, this is what I've come up with ! Olive oil cake, raspberry-lychee gelee, white chocolate chontilly and edible flowers and mint leaves. I'm so proud of this dish and it can be served three different way which I think is cool and keeps it interesting for dinner service. Hopefully this will be one of my staple desserts ?!!

Flower Shop Visit

I always love picking out new flowers for the kitchen ! Roses, baby's breath, and gerber daisys are my favorite flowers. I've been in the kitchen this afternoon. The dish for Valentine's Day is looking so pretty ! I think I might have something ready to show you tomorrow! YESSS ! Vanilla ice cream, raspberry, and coconut all on one plate! Ok I'm going to finish up! Can't wait😉

Stormy Seas

Hi guys and girls.  

This morning I went to our club house for a steam shower. It's so nice because it's like my own little spa, with a steam and rain shower. The ocean was really stormy today. I love watching the waves in the winter, they're  so wild and powerful. Nature is definitely something you don't want to mess with. I know someone who told me such a great idea to really show you the power of the ocean and storm. One day he had this idea when it was storming at raining really hard. He told his wife he was taking her to the beach, that she needed to bundle up. They went and it was crazy cold and rainy ! After they ran back to their car and went home and had homemade pizzas and were by the fire. It just makes you appreciate your home and the safety of your home. It's really a special thing . Anyway I love that story and hope to do that one day! ( soon)   

We're going to watch the hundred foot journey now.  Who has seen it? I think it looks pretty cute! Sweet dreams!

Canyon Loving

Last week i went to my family's friends house in LA. Its so amazingly beautiful! When you walk in the door its so spacious and airy. The bedroom i have posted above, is probably my one of my favorite rooms because of the window above the head board. When you walk around the house sometimes you can't tell if you're indoors or outside! Thats so cool to me because I'm such an outdoor person, with a serious love for plants and flowers if you haven't noticed? The kitchen is so perfect, it has a pizza oven that is covered in blue tile mosaic from the ceiling to the floor. In the side yard there is 2 acres of horse property that has room for a 10 horse barn and a couple arenas! I'm sure my horse would love it here! haha :) I have so many more pictures from this house so don't be surprised if more show up in the future!

Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwich

So this is what I've been making at the restaurant lately. It's becoming really popular, the costumers really love it ! I usually sell around 40 plates of 2 - 4 cookies a night! Pretty good right? ;) I don't usually like Carmel but this sauce is so perfect! Apparently the only Carmel I like is the one I make 🤗. I'm starting to work on plated desserts for Valentine's Day.. Crazy right?! I started today and am doing a few different designs tomorrow . Can't wait to see how it comes out. I just found out I have a Pinterest account and am now just scrolling around on it! I never knew it was this cool! Aha who made this account for me?? Ha just kidding.  Anyway I'm waiting for jimmy kimmel to come on tv, then going to bed ! Sweet dreams lovlies ❤️💋

Ahh! Can't believe I forgot to post yesterday! So sorrryyyy 💔 !! Today was so warm out! I loved it! Nice little break from the chilly weather but I would like to keep the chill as long as possible. We're supposed to get more rain this week so I'm happy about that. As you can see the grass is all dead from the drought ahah . Can't wait for that to grow back. Had a few meetings today and am now baking some chocolate lava cakes for my fam. Multitasking at its best! Haha grabbing something to eat and heading to bible study. Can't believe it's Thursday already . That went quick ! One more sleep till the weekend ! Can you make it? Do you have any fun plans ? Let me know..
